Q + A

What is your favorite place you’ve been to, and where do you want to go next?

I have been to so many incredible places, it’s hard to pick one!  If I must, I would say Turkey.  The sights, bazaars, people, food, everything is amazing!  As for where to go next: back to Pakistan to see family and friends, and hopefully manage to visit some of the northern areas that I didn’t have the opportunity to go to when I lived there.

Describe your ideal weekend.

My ideal weekend would be a flight to a new city with my family where we can explore, find something adventurous to do, sample some local street-foods, and enjoy each other’s company away from the demands of home.

What are your favorite hobbies outside of work?

Traveling internationally, especially to “off the beaten path” locations.  I also enjoy cooking, especially South Asian and Middle Eastern dishes.  I have a large cookbook collection and spend a lot of time browsing through them, as well as various recipe-related blogs and websites.
