InsideNGO Announces Adam Grant as Keynote Speaker for 2016 Annual Conference

WASHINGTON—InsideNGO is pleased to announce that Wharton professor and bestselling author Adam Grant will be the keynote speaker at the InsideNGO 2016 Annual Conference: Achieving Global Impact. The conference will take place July 12-14 in Washington, DC, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

Wharton’s top-rated professor, and recognized as one of the world’s 25 most influential management thinkers, Grant is the author of Give and Take, a New York Times best seller translated into 27 languages and named one of the best books of 2013 by Amazon, The Financial Times and The Wall Street Journal, and cited by The Washington Post as one of the books every leader should read. His new book, Originals: How Nonconformists Move the World (February, 2016) examines how individuals can champion new ideas and leaders can fight groupthink.

InsideNGO’s annual conference attracts more than 1,200 development practitioners from more than 200 international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) worldwide, and is one of the largest gatherings of professionals in the relief and development community. This three-day, members-only event offers attendees more than 100 different professional development and learning sessions, presentations led by sector experts, and a variety of networking opportunities with fellow InsideNGO members who are practitioners from around the world. Past keynote speakers have included journalists Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn (2015) and NPR’s Guy Raz (2014), who interviewed Ben Keesey, CEO of Invisible Children, a nonprofit working to end the Lord’s Resistance Army conflict in Uganda.
