USAID Rules & Regulations: Grants & Cooperative Agreements

March 12-14

This three-day workshop covers the many rules and regulations associated with USAID funding. It is designed to enhance the ability of NGO staff to effectively manage their programs and maintain donor compliance and will give you the skills and knowledge you need to confidently apply the complex directives found within the regulations. You will also have the opportunity to ask specific questions about your own award. While the focus of this workshop is USAID funding for grants and cooperative agreements, it also provides a good foundation for understanding funding from other US Government agencies.

Procurement Planning & Execution: USAID Grants & Cooperative Agreements

March 15-16

This two-day workshop tackles the rewards and risks involved in executing procurements in USAID-funded assistance programs. Well-planned, well-executed procurement contributes to effective and compliant programming. Poor understanding of processes and procedures in this area raises the risk of funder audits and compliance reviews. Designed in a highly participatory style, the course provides you with the knowledge and tools you need to effectively manage all aspects of procurement that are typically required in project implementation.

Note: These workshops are both part of the course requirements for InsideNGO's Certificate in Assistance Management.
